There will also be a panel discussion on reaching the Gen Z demographic, as well as the highly- anticipated APC Hall of Fame and Lifetime Achievement awards.
“Peanut Congress is the premier U.S. peanut event where leaders from across the industry come together to hear from their peanut peers and subject experts in areas like sustainability, exports, research and nutrition,” said APC President & CEO Richard Owen. “The information being discussed at Congress not only engages members in issues critical to them, but it will help drive the industry forward as we plan our future export marketing strategy and phase two of the Sustainable U.S. Peanut Initiative.”
In addition to the business sessions, APC working committees will also meet during Congress. Individual committees on export markets, sustainability and research, to name a few, will be planning what’s next for the organization as it continues to move forward with its three main program areas. The APC board of directors and executive committee will also meet.
