Peggy L. Disney


Membership and Marketing Manager

Peggy develops and implements membership marketing programs for APC and develops strategies and services to promote its benefits. Accordingly, she sets goals for growth and implements metrics to measure success. Peggy serves as the APC staff liaison for the Membership Committee, which supports membership growth by actively recruiting, retaining, and engaging members. She also writes for and edits APC’s various communications vehicles.

Peggy has extensive professional experience in corporate communications and marketing with more than 30 years of working in diverse industries, including retail, telecommunications, and construction materials. She has worked with large publicly traded companies, as well as small trade associations. Peggy began her career as a special events coordinator for Macy’s-acquired Hecht’s department stores in its public relations department. She would eventually become vice president of the division.

Peggy received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Maryland and an MBA, with a concentration in marketing, from Trinity Washington University.
